چکیده

Background: Mushroom cultivation increased throughout the world with utilization of crop residues. Oyster mushroom (Pleurotus spp.) is suitable for most area and less expensive availability paddy straw. Increasing demand straw compels to search alternate source substrate production. Based on this information efforts were taken compare many locally available leaf substrates Pleurotus citrinopileatus Methods: Leaf viz., teak, bamboo, maize, banana, coconut, mango, sugarcane bagasse grass (Dactyloctenium aegyptium) tested P. citrinopileatus. Grain paddy, cumbu, bengal gram, green sorghum, black ragi above studied their effect radial mycelial growth dry weight Result: All par each other growth. Highest 724.67 mg was recorded in Among different used bed preparation, banana showed highest yield 115.00 g than Weight spent observe which bamboo decomposed at maximum. Addition grain enhanced mycelium.

Submerged Cultivation of Mycelium with High Ergothioneine Content from the Culinary-Medicinal Golden Oyster Mushroom, Pleurotus citrinopileatus (Higher Basidiomycetes).

The optimization of submerged culture of the culinary-medicinal golden oyster mushroom, Pleurotus citrinopileatus, was studied using a one-factor-at-a-time, two-stage stimulation and central composite rotatable design to produce mycelia with high ergothioneine content. The optimal culture conditions for mycelia harvested at day 22 were a temperature of 25°C, an inoculation ratio of 5%, 2% gluco...
